- All alpacas entering the venue must be microchipped. The microchip number must be included on the Veterinary Certificate of Inspection (Health Certificate).
Please be advised - no dogs will be allowed at the show venue this year.
Recently there has been a lot of questions and concerns about the bovine disease known as Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) among alpaca breeders across the country. The IAO Organizing Committee considers the health and safety of alpacas attending the IAO show a serious matter. Therefore, all alpacas entering the show venue will be required to Have proof of a negative PCR or V.I. test for BVDV, signed by a licensed veterinarian.
