Judge Jane Tellier - International Alpaca Odyssey

Jane Tellier received her judge's training in both North America and Peru. She has been judging alpacas for the past nine years throughout both Canada and the United States. She is certified by AOBA to judge halter, fleece and performance classes, and is also an accredited IAJS (International) Alpaca Judge. She is further certified by AOBA as a Judge Trainer of apprentice halter judges. She also enjoys presenting training clinics to exhibitors, youth and 4-H groups.

Jane raises both huacaya and suri alpacas in Alberta, Canada. She and her husband, Gerry are both pharmacists, and have owned and operated a drug store for over thirty years. Jane has been active in the alpaca industry since she purchased her first alpacas in 1992. She has served for two terms on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Alpaca Breeders Association. She has served as Chair of the Pedigree Committee of the Canadian Llama and Alpaca Association. She currently serves on the Show Committee of ALPACA CANADA.
